Baby Card Duo
Here's a set of baby cards for our Papertrey Paper Dolls challenge 33.
Leish asked us to make a baby boy and girl card with a similar layout. I don't own any PTI baby themed sets but I have a few sets that have one or two baby images. I pulled out Just the Ticket. I'm ashamed to say that this is the first time I've inked this up. I got this set right after CHA as a gift from LeAnn (sillyleann). It's so cute. Why don't I use it?
I kept the layout pretty simple. I used a Mat Stack 2 die cut under the ticket strip to highlight the sentiment. The Book Print Impression Plate used on the yellow panel is my favorite part. Hope you play along with our Paper Dolls challenge!

Adorable, Sara!! I love the impressed backgound with the bitty dots paper, and the way you layered the tickets with the mat stack is so cool!
Sara, these are adorable! The impression plate makes the yellow dotted paper look quilted, a great effect! And Mat Stack 2 is perfect under the tickets too!
These are adorable!
Great way to get around no baby sets...very creative!
I love them...
and may have to just CASE them for myself!
These are so cute! I love the embossing and the tickets!!
These are beautiful, Sara! The subtle embossing on the patterned paper is awesome!!!
These are so sweet. Just lovely. What a creative use of the set. Love the background.
Very cute. The IP used on the polka dot paper looks great.

These so scream "baby" to me! They're adorable! I love the simple layout. You placed the buttons perfectly! Just the Ticket is an awesome stamp set. I'm so glad you finally got to ink it up. Great job on the challenge.
WOW! These are awesome! I absolutely LOVE your use of the mat stack with the tickets. Thanks for sharing this great idea!
What a cute idea to use that impression plate on a baby card, and on patterned paper at that! Slipping that one into my idea file. Gorgeous set!
Two very sweet baby cards - the impression plate is really good for this theme!

EEK!! I love love love this. I have eyed up that bookprint IP but avoided putting it in my cart... this is NOT HELPING. Just the Ticket is soooo cute here. I too have it and it doesn't see much ink. I love how you combined it with the Mat stack, this is just all so super cute!
These are so, so darling! I love the polka dot paper with the blue and pink. Both are just adorable! You did great for not having any "baby" stamps!
Perfection, Sara! I love them, especially with that impression plate! So adorable!
okay, these are just perfect! Should i PM you my address so you can send one my way?! LOL..how innovative for the lack of baby stamps! Love it.
You nailed it. These cards are wonderful. So perfect and pristine. I love the IP and how you've used it here. So clever and too cute!
so cute Sara, I love it all, colors, texture in background, stamp set. So fun.
Oh Sara, I love these! The colors, design (love the use of the mat stack 2 die cut under the tickets), teeny buttons and impressed background. Adorable!
Great job with the challenge! I love how they are so similar. It gives me inspiration that maybe I can get the challenge done! LOL!! Might even have to CASE these!! They are too cute!
