Captain America Birthday

Wow, it's been a busy Summer so far.  I have not made anytime to sit down and make cards just for fun.  Seems I'm always making one quickly as the need arises.  This card came about because my daughter asked me to make a card for her friend's 16th birthday.  Her request was to make it in the theme of Captain America because that's what her friend likes.  I guess it's an inside joke that he thinks he's Captain America :)

I started with a Navy card base and stamped the medallion and stars in white ink.  I added the die cuts and voila!  Such a quick and simple card.  I just love how it turned out.  I really do need to make more time to create easy cards.

I'm playing along with two challenges with this card:

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend,
