Sing to the Lord

I know, I know that's a lot of blue!  I decided to go monochromatic for the ODBD Shining the Light Challenge this week.  We are to use blue as our main color.  I think I got that covered.  *wink*  I also wanted to play along with the Wee Memories sketch challenge this week.

Ever since I bought the background sheet music stamp from Papertrey I planned to make a card combining it with some sentiments from my Sing to the Lord set.  I love that set of stamps.

I also used the Victorian Lace Die for the first time.  I cannot believe I hadn't broken that out yet.  Shame, shame.  I used both the die cut and the negative and layered them together.  I love how it turned out.  The little decorative design stamp is from the Mat Stack 1 stamp collection.

Hope you all have a safe and warm week.  We are snowed iced in for the next day or two.  Can I move back to Hawaii yet?

All supplies from Papertrey Ink unless noted

Paper:  Enchanted Evening, Spring Rain
Ink:  Indian Corn Blue (CTMH), Black (Memento), White (memories)
Accessories:  Mat Stack 1 die, Victorian Lace Border die, black rhinestones (kaisercraft), navy satin ribbon (Michael's)

Ooh, gorgeous, Sara! Love your monochromatic look & your take on the sketch. And the layered die cut w/ negative is cool. Oh and you can always come back home - nice & breezy today, thank goodness.

Sara, your use of the border die is pure genius. I LOVE what you did and will be using your idea soon. It's so eye-catching! Right away this card made me think of the sea. I love the monochromatic blues, and that music does match so well with the sentiment.
