PTI January 2012 Blog Hop

It's the 25th of the month so that means the Papertrey Blog hop is going on.  This month we are to choose one of our favorite projects from 2011 and create something new based on that.  I chose this wedding card that I made using Harvest Berries.   You can see the original post HERE.

This time I chose to use the same colors, but changed it up a bit by adding the negative die cut over the stamped leaves.  I used the smaller version of the above sentiment that is found in the Star Prints set. I also trimmed a bit off the card front and  punched the border on back of the base instead.

Happy hopping!

All supplies from Papertrey Ink unless stated.

Stamps:  Harvest Berries, Star Prints
Paper:   White
Ink:  Lavender Moon, Almost Amethyst (SU), Versamark
Other:  Harvest Berries dies, silver EP, Apron Lace border punch (fiskars)

Very pretty, Sara. I never would have thought of overlaying the whole negative piece over the stamped piece. It adds such a different texture to the card.

This is just beautiful. I'm still scratching my head as to how you actually did it and got everything lined up. Very clever.

Woah! Sara, this is so awesome. I've had this set in my virtual cart for awhile now...the die needs to go back in the cart. ;)
