For Your Inspiration #23

It's time for the next For Your Inspiration challenge!  We had so many amazing participants for our last challenge.  I hope we have even more this time.

Since this is the first challenge of the month we have a great sponsor -- Kenny K!  We each got to choose a digi to work with from the extensive collection.  One randomly selected participant from this challenge will win  4 digi stamps from Kenny K.  The challenge is open until February 15th so I hope you'll join us!

Here is the inspiration photo:

I don't know what this building is, but isn't it amazing?  I was inspired by the blue and white colors and the architecture of the building.

I chose the Milkshake stamp because I wanted a Valentine's themed card and the rays in the background fit with the inspiration photo.  I also decided to add a scrap of blue paper behind the Quatrefoil die cut to help the image pop.  Once again, I chose to leave a few pieces of the Quatrefoil die in place.  I really like the look of that.  I enjoyed coloring this image even though I am not much of a "colorer".  This is about my limit:)

Please be sure to visit the rest of the DT to see their beautiful cards.  The links are on my sidebar.

All supplies from Papertrey Ink unless stated.

Stamps:  Milkshake (Kenny K digi)
Paper:   White, blue scrap?
Other:  prismacolor pencils, copic markers, quatrefoil die, white grosgrain ribbon

Sara, what a cool take from that building inspiration! I love that you left some of the pieces from the quatrefoil die in, and the blue behind it really looks like the sky. What a seriously cute V-day stamp, too!! :)

What a fun card. I like how you put the blue behind the quatrefoil--really makes the image shine.
