For Your Inspiration #27

Welcome back to the next For Your Inspiration challenge.  This week we are sponsored by the Cutting Cafe.  They are offering a prize to one lucky challenge participant.  Be sure to check out the FYI Blog for details.  You have until April 18th to play along.

Here is the photo for the challenge:

Here's my take on it:

I borrowed this lighthouse stamp from a friend.  The inks are sponged onto the glossy paper.  It's so easy to color this way:)

I printed the verse from The Cutting Cafe's Rejoice in the Lord set onto vellum and then cut it out with my new Edgelits - Adorning Accents border dies from SU!

Please check out what the rest of the Design Team created from this photo.  Links are on my sidebar.

Stamps:  Lighthouse (inkadinkado), Rejoice in the Lord digi (the cutting cafe), Lg Reeds (stampscapes)
Paper:   glossy, black, cream, vellum
Ink:   black (memento), plum, bashful blue, caramel
Other:  sponges, edgelits dies - adorning accents (SU), yellow marker

Wonderful inking Sara, your seascape is fabulous and very atmospheric. The vellum is a great idea for adding a sentiment - die-cut card can sometimes hide too much of the main image.
Have a happy weekend - Sylvia x
