PTI April 2015 Blog Hop

I cannot remember the last time I joined the Papertrey Blog Hop.  I'm so happy that I got a chance this month.  I actually made two cards from the gorgeous inspiration photo.  I used the diagonal stripes Cover Plate and the Sweet Life roses on both.

This next one uses the negative strips from the Cover Plate die cut.  I left all the pieces in the Cover Plate die and placed a sheet of double sided adhesive over top of them.  Then I poured Cotton Candy glitter from Martha Stewart all over the panel.  It was messy and I'm not sure I'd go to this trouble again, but I love the result  -- and I have tons of glitter to put to use:-)

Gorgeous results, Sara, but know what you mean about the mess of glitter. The white vine along the edge of your first card really adds to the rest of your card. Great job!

These are both just gorgeous. I love that we were inspired in the same way, used almost all the same ingredients, and yet our cards are quite different. Your glittered rendition is truly inspired.

It's so great to see you making your beautiful cards again! Sometimes I wish everyday was my birthday so I could continuously receive them, hoarding them away for myself- I bet they still wouldn't lose their value. Love you, momma!
