February 2011 PTI Blog Hop

Hi all welcome to another Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.  The theme this month is scallops!  We can use scallops of any kind on our project.  I immediately thought of the small scallop strip in First Fruits.  I've used it exactly once on a card and loved the results, so I needed to break that out again.  Here it is stamped in a trio of colors.

Don't you love those unique scallops?  They were really easy to quickly cut around too.  I layered them on top of each other and curled up the ends a bit for dimension.

I'm finally putting those number dies to use as well.  I cut out the 40 from polka dot stamped vellum and Hawaiian Shores cardstock and glued them together.  Popped that up on a Mat Stack 1 die cut and added a few buttons.

I used this week's Curtain Call Color Challenge, Act 70, for my color inspiration.

All Supplies from Papertrey Ink unless stated.

Stamps:  First Fruits, Mat Stack 1, Big Birthday Wishes
Paper:  Stampers Select White, Hawaiian Shores, vellum
Ink:  Spring Moss, Breeze (CTMH), Orange (Kaleidacolor autumn leaves)
Accessories:  Mat Stack 1 die, hawaiian shores buttons, numbers dies,, orange zest twill ribbon, cutterbee scissors
