For Your Inspiration #24

My how time flies.  It's already time for the next For Your Inspiration Challenge.  The photo this week was really difficult for me.  Truth be told, it's not the photo...it's me and my lack of mojo:)

Here's the beautiful picture:

And here's my card:

I decided to keep it monochromatic.  I wanted to use my new Mat Stack 5 stamp set that hadn't seen ink yet.  I also decided to ink up Blooming Button Bits which I've had for years and only used once.  Shame, shame.

The idea to use buttons came from the JUGS challenge this week.  I've been wanting to play along with them for so long now.  Glad to finally meet a deadline:)

I hope you'll join us at FYI for this challenge.  I'd love to see what you do with this photo.  You have until Feb. 29 (leap day!) to play.  Link up your card on the FYI blog.

Please check out the rest of the DT projects.  Links are on my sidebar.

Blessings,

All supplies from Papertrey Ink unless stated.

Stamps:   Mat Stack 5 Collection, Blooming Buttons Bits
Paper:   New Leaf, White, Chartreuse
Ink:   New Leaf, Pear Tart (memento)
Other:  Mat Stack 5 die, ripe avocado buttons,  Scor Pal, grosgrain ribbon

What a fun card. Love all the green. It reminds me of spring, which should be here soon. And, how fun that you found buttons shaped like flowers.

I really love how you pulled the intense green from the photo onto your card. Also your bow is beautifully tied... I struggled with a card last week and finally just ditched the whole bow thing. Wish I could have just had you tie it instead!

Hope we get a chance to see each other next week!

I think this is GENIUS! LOVE all the green tones--and the lack of sentiment doesn't make this card lack anything! So versatile and gorgeous! :)

I love this card! I have a hard time with monochromatic cards, but you've done it so well! I especially like the scored lines...great touch!

As always, love the card. Your ability to pull colors out of the photos are nothing short of amazing. Sorry that I don't comment more. But, I come visit several times a week. -- I left you a little something on my blog. (http://sillyleanndesigns.blogspot.com/2012/03/liebster-blog-award.html)
