Focal Point Impression

Hello all!  I'm finally playing along with Amy's Paper Dolls challenge.  Cutting it close to the deadline, I know.  Our new challenge goes up on the 10th.  You can read all about the challenge HERE.  Basically we are to add some type of impression over our stamping.  Don't you love the look?

Here's my card:

I impressed the sheet music IP over some Sweet Life roses.  I actually took time to mask off the roses as I stamped.  That's a technique that I usually don't bother with because it takes a bit more time.  Nothing difficult of course, just more time and effort.  The roses are stamped using Pretty in Pink (SU), then Berry Sorbet (PTI) and Rose Bud (memento).

Hope you all are having a wonderful week!

All supplies from Papertrey Ink unless stated.

Stamps:  The Sweet Life, Think Big favorites #7
Paper:   Berry Sorbet, White
Ink:   Pretty in Pink (SU), Berry Sorbet (PTI), Rose Bud (memento), black
Other:  sheet music IP, berry sorbet satin ribbon,  Apron Lace punch (fiskars)

This is beautiful, Sara! I love the combination of roses and musical background! Your effort with masking paid off--I need to try that with this set.

Love your card. Love the masking (something I don't take the time to do very often!).

What a gorgeous card. Those roses are just so lovely, and the masking was really worth the extra effort. Now, I want that IP, too. It's such a beautiful effect.
