Springtime Duo

So they say that Spring is here, but you'd never know it here in Indiana.  I know a lot of you are in the same boat as me with this unseasonably chilly weather.  Regardless, I'm trying to stay positive (not sure I'm doing a good job).  It helps to make a few cards with a Spring theme.

I started by embossing the Labels 18 frame on white card stock.  Once I had the frame it was easy to lay out the dies and stamps.  After these were assembled I added the little scroll image to the top and bottom of the frames because I thought it was missing something.

And here is what my backyard looks like right now.  Is it really March 25th?

All supplies from Papertrey Ink unless stated.

Stamps:   Polka-dot Parade #1, Boxes, Bags & Tags, Headline Alphabet
Paper:   White, Spring Moss
Ink:   Pear Tart (memento), Berry Sorbet (card 1), Breeze (CTMH - card 2)
Other:  Polka-dot Parade bunny die, Headline Alphabet dies  Labels 18 die (spellbinders)

EGADS, Sara!!! I am so in love with this card!!! The negative embossing, putting the bunny under the O, making an Easter card that doesn't say "Happy Easter", the spring colors, it's all just darn near perfect!!

And too funny what's outside your window. Thanks for sharing!

Well, it's snowing here too, but the snow isn't sticking thankfully. The boys are on spring break and are moaning about the weather!

your cards are shouting for spring to arrive! They are adorable!

Gorgeous Spring cards Sara - the embossed frame is a perfect way to display the images, and the little swirls are a great finishing touch.

Wow, your snowy photos are stunning - we still have snow in West Yorkshire, but not as deep as yours. Yesterday we had a blizzard, today we have sunshine - weird!!
Have a very happy Easter - Big Hugs, Sylvia xxx

Love those little bunnies on your card especially used with those dies.
Your backyard looks awesome with all that beautiful snow, but I am sure you really want spring to be here by now. We were lucky and only had a dusting, but had to cancel my son's birthday celebration dinner since they were forcasting 6".
