Mother

Here's a simple CAS card using the Swiss Dots embossing folder and some sentiments from Papertrey Ink.  The "Mother" sentiment is from Women of Life and the "blessed, wonderful, loved" stamps can be found in Heartfelt Basics

After I embossed the lower part of the card with the folder, I used my scor-pal to add two score lines in order to frame the sentiments.  I then finished it off with a few blue rhinestones and some melon berry satin ribbon.

This is for a challenge from a fellow PTI addict fan.  Ted has a great Mother of a challenge on his blog.  It is to create a card for a woman in your life.  Here are his restrictions:  no flowers or floral buttons, floral images, floral embossing, etc. and do not use the colors: pink, mauve, lavender, or purple.  Go check it out!  The challenge closes April 23rd at 3 pm PST.

All supplies from Papertrey Ink unless stated otherwise

Stamps:  Women of Life, Heartfelt Basics
Paper:  Stampers Select White
Ink:  Groovy Guava (SU)
Accessories:  swiss dots embossing folder (provocraft), scor-pal, rhinestones (paper studio), melon berry satin ribbon, corner rounder

I forget how pretty the swiss dots embossing folder can be. This is really quite stuning. I like the scored area for the sentiments.
