For Your Inspiration #34

I cannot believe that it's already time for our next For Your Inspiration challenge.  As always, you have two weeks to play along.  For this challenge you have until Wed, August 1 to submit a card or project.

Here is the photo inspiration:

I created a scenic card using these colors:

I had a lot of fun creating this card.  Stampscapes makes it so easy!  Most everything is colored with Copic markers.  The clouds were stamped using Memento's Summer Sky.

Please be sure to stop by the rest of the DT's blogs to see their gorgeous cards (links are on my sidebar).

Here are images of the stamps I used:

Stamps:  Stampscapes  (Rocky Peaks 188F, Autumn Bank left and right, Water Ripple Light 305c, Prickly Branches 272G, Cumulus Cloud 018E), Sending You (PTI), Mat Stack 1 (PTI)
Paper:  Glossy cs, white, black
Ink:  Summer Sky & Tuxedo Black (memento), Buttercup (CTMH), Orange Zest (PTI)
Other: variety of Copic markers, label die (quikkutz)

Medallion Thanks

Here's a quick almost-one-layer card I made using Mehndi Medallion.  I love the look of black and red on kraft.  The sentiment is embossed with red EP.  The black border is a Victorian Lace border die cut with the centers left intact.

This was created to be entered into the Stamp It! Cards Thank You Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

Have a wonderful weekend,

All supplies from Papertrey Ink unless stated.

Stamps:  Mehndi Medallion, Think Big Favorites #2
Paper:  Kraft, Black
Ink:   black, versamark
Other:  Victorian Lace border, copic markers

For Your Inspiration #33

Hi all!  It's time for the next For Your Inspiration challenge.

Here is the photo inspiration for this challenge.  Remember that you have until July 18 to submit a project based on this photo.  Head over to the FYI blog to link up your submission.

Here's my card:

I decided to go with the photo colors and I used Our Daily Bread Designs Bird & Butterfly Labels.  This set is gorgeous and it coordinates with Spellbinders Labels 18.  After stamping it in Summer Sky I inked in some of the wildflowers with a green glitter gel pen.

The blue panel is 4 x 6 and therefore couldn't be fully embossed with my cuttlebug folders or PTI impression plates, so I used my Sculpey Texture Makers sheet.  These are made for clay, but they work on paper too.  I picked mine up at JoAnn's last year.

Please stop by and see what the rest of the DT have created from this photo.

Blessings,
