Embedded Embossing

I wanted to be sure to join the ODBD challenge to create a card using "embedded embossing".  My friend and fellow challenge chaser Silke Ledlow did a photo tutorial on this technique.  Isn't her card amazing?  I didn't want to miss out on this one.  **EDITED**  Because of the issues with Blogger I ended up missing out on the challenge:)  Just gotta laugh about it.

I used the colors from the current Play Date Cafe challenge:  PDCC81.  The stamped images are from Bird & Butterfly Labels (ODBD).  They coordinate with Labels 18 dies from Spellbinders.

I first stamped the flourishes using silver pigment ink.  After cutting, stamping and adhering the three die cuts, I ran the whole card through the cuttlebug and embossed the front with Papertrey's Picnic Plaid impression plate.

Stamps:  Bird & Butterfly labels (ODBD), Fancy Flourishes (PTI), Tag-its #3 (PTI)
Paper:  white (PTI)
Ink:  pear tart (memento), silver (stampabilities), purple (memories)
Other:  Labels 18 (spellbinders), picnic plaid ip (PTI), ribbon (hobby lobby), corner rounder
