For the Graduate

Here's a quick CAS graduation card that I made for my niece.  Just perfect for this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge.  I went with my favorite standby layout for a great CAS card -- using impressed images and scoring for detail.  You can see more cards that I made like this HERE and HERE.

I used her school colors and a strip of metallic paper that I trimmed off of her announcement.  The "memories" stamp is from Inque Boutique's Circle It set.  The red layer is a 1 1/2" circle punch stamped with an image from PTI's 2009 Autumn Tags set and the little sentiment is from PTI's Mixed Messages.

Here's a close up:

Thanks for visiting!

All Supplies from Papertrey Ink unless stated

Stamps:  Mixed Messages, 2009 Autumn Tags, Circle It (inque boutique)
Paper:  Stampers select white
Ink:  Pure Poppy, Dutch Blue (CTMH)
Other:  Limitless Layer dies, Scor-Pal, 1 1/2" circle punch (ek success), rhinestones

Oh Sara, aren't you clever to use a strip of metallic paper from her own announcement?! Such a classy touch. And you KNOW I love that debossing that you do. Perfect. I'm so glad you joined us for CAS-ual Fridays.

Hi Sara,

Congratulations on winning the top talent award at Our Creative Corner several weeks ago. I sincerely apologize for the length of time it has taken me to contact you about being a guest designer. Life has sort of gotten ahead of me lately, I guess. Once again, I'm sorry to be so delayed. Please email me at thefunkiejunkie@gmail.com so we can set up a date for you.
